The Guest House is ideally situated in a quiet part of Hluhluwe with a tropical African atmosphere, exceptional comfort, beautifully decorated bedrooms and warm hospitality.

The Guest House has 8 rooms, sleeping 18 people sharing. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning.

Meals are served between 7am to 9am and 7pm to 9pm. All our meals consist of hearty South African cuisine and prepared by your hostess, Gerrie de Wet.

Relax and unwind at our swimming pool or challenge your partner to a game of snooker. A comfortable reading room and TV lounge is available for all guests.

Tea and coffee facilities available at all times in the dining room. Drinks can be obtained from the ladies bar when necessary. Credit cards accepted.

Laundry facilities available at a small additional fee.The Hluhluwe Guest house is Satour accredited establishment with a 3 star rating.
All our bedrooms have en-suite bathroom facilities and air-conditioners.A swimming pool a Thatched "lapa" wher one can relax and unwind.
Full English breakfast and traditional South African Buffet dinners are served with venison meat being one of the main dishes. All decor inside the house and bedrooms are in a true Africa style. Game safaris to Hluhluwe Game Reserve or Beach drives depart daily from the Guest house and are conducted in 4X4 open game viewing vehicles by qualified guides. The Guest house is situated in a quiet area in the Hluhluwe Village and makes it an ideal place to set off on various Safaris to explore the wetlands and Game Reserves of the World Heritage site of St. Lucia .

A full English Breakfast is served in the dining room. Dinner is available by prior arrangement. All meals are tastefully prepared to spoil you with our true South african way of cooking. All special meal requests can be discussed with your hostess.

GAME DRIVES:

Daily Game Drives in open 4x4's to the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve on offer if you are interested, with the possibility to view the Big 5 as well as a large variety of other animals.

BOAT TRIPS:

Daily boat trips on the St. Lucia Lake to view Hippo, Crocodile and numerous waterbirds, combined with a coastal game viewing trip and a swim in the Warm Indian Ocean will fill a wonderful day in the Wetlands Park near the coast.
